BioExtract – APEC (Pectinase Enzyme for Extraction and Processing)
DESCRIPTION:
BioExtract - APEC is a Pectinase Enzyme derived from a selected strain of fungal spp. It has been specifically developed for hydrolysis of Pectin which is a major cellular component of various plant matter while facilitating clarification and viscosity reduction by de-pectinization.
APPLICATION:
BioExtract - APEC is a whole Pectinase Enzyme with various activities such as Poly Galacturonase, Pectin Methyl Esterase and Pectin Lyase. It breaks down Pectin present in the cell wall of various plant matter thus providing excellent yields in extraction related processing. It is also used for clarification and de-pectinization during processing.

ACTIVITY:
The activity can be customized according to performance requirements or current use.
DOSAGE:
The initial recommended dosage is 100 ppm. The optimum dosage needs to be standardized on basis of trials only.
SPECIFICATIONS:
It conforms to the quality specifications as recommended by JECFA / FCC for food enzymes.
PACKING:
It is available in 50 KG HDPE Drums.
STORAGE:
Cool & dry conditions are recommended. Extended storage or adverse conditions may lead to higher dosage requirement.
SHELF LIFE:
It can be stored in closed container up to six months at 25°C.
SAFETY:
Enzyme preparation belongs to protein, which may induce sensitization and or cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or mucous membrane of nose, so any direct contact with the human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor. MSDS is available on request.
