Job Title: Business Development Executive – Food processing – East India

Job Location: Kolkata, India

Job Description: This is a location specific position and involves development of business opportunities for the company in the Food processing industry (Baking, Fruit & Vegetable processing, Tea processing etc.) primarily in the Eastern region.

Job Qualifications:

This position has the following requisites:

  • Educational Qualification: B.Sc, B.Tech / M.Sc, M.Tech / PG Diploma in Food process engineering / technology, Industrial Biotechnology, Industrial Microbiology or related areas.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of work experience as a Sales/Marketing Executive with companies involved in Manufacturing or Marketing/Distribution of Food additives and/or Food enzymes. The candidate should have good knowledge about prospective clients and distributors in the region. Prior experience in handling of dealers/distributors in the region will be preferred.
  • Location: The applicant must be a current resident of Kolkata or Howrah region.
  • Other: The candidate must be willing to travel extensively. Job profile involves conducting on-site trials with the end users. Those having knowledge of end product application will be preferred.
